This is no laughing matter. These giant condoms are coming to Miami with a critical message:
SPAY & NEUTER your cat--even stray cats you feed!
The "giant condoms" will parade in downtown Miami and they are determined to let passersby know that the only way to save the more than 6 million unwanted cats and dogs who end up in U.S. animal shelters every year—half of whom are euthanized because there simply aren't enough good homes for them—is to spay or neuter their companion animals. Spaying one female dog can prevent 67,000 births in six years, and spaying one female cat can prevent 420,000 births in seven years.
Miami is facing an epidemic of homeless cats, especially in Miami Beach. As animal advocates we are determined to make a difference!
What: Demonstration to raise awareness about spaying and neutering
When: Friday, April 15, 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Intersection of W. Flagler Street and N. Miami Avenue, Miami (See this map.)

Cat population grows every day. But as time passes I've seen more people getting involved and taking action. Several places like MDAS and The cat network do 15$ surgeries and you cannot leave out the miami day free events. i feel people are caring more than before. Thank you!
